Gallaher Designs was established in 1979. Barb Gallaher has earned the reputation as a designer whose “designs transcend time”. She has mastered a range of techniques that allow her to create works layered with organic forms as well as designs of sophisticated modern simplicity.

I incorporate many Silversmithing Techniques, including forging, repousse and chasing, casting, utilizing various methods and materials of construction.  I like to use several different textures and materials together to design my work and create functional pieces.  Balance is very important to me even though a lot of my work is asymmetrical in style.  I love the Loess Hills and all of God’s creations and enjoy using my skills and talents to interpret how I see the beauty around me.  My Christian Faith in God is very important to me and my hope is that my work will represent God’s Grace, Mercy and Love to others in this world.
